Maintain your healthy eyes and update your vision correction

Comprehensive eye exams are an important part of preventative healthcare and should start before age 1. Comprehensive exams are for people who need glasses or contact lenses and for those who require no visual correction. Many eye problems have no obvious signs or symptoms but can cause serious problems later if not addressed early on. In addition, signs of diseases that affect the rest of the body, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, brain tumors, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and several others, are often found first in the eyes. Annual comprehensive eye exams can help get treatment sooner, saving sight and even lives.

Contact Types
At Nora Eye Care, we help you find the contact lenses that will be the best fit for you. If you have been told you cannot wear contacts in the past, now may be the time to give them another try. We are up-to-date on the latest in contact lens technology, and we have lenses for those with dry eyes, allergies, high prescriptions, and irregular corneas due to past surgeries and other eye problems. Do you want to sleep in your lenses or cut down on the hassle of dealing with solutions by throwing your contacts away at the end of each day? No problem! Are you starting to need reading glasses or bifocals and think that contact lenses are no longer an option? Think again! The doctors at Nora Eye Care are equipped with several contact lens options to fit your needs.

As a contact lens wearer, it is also important to have an annual comprehensive eye exam. Contact lenses are medical devices that can affect the health of your eyes, so it is important for an optometrist to evaluate them each year for proper fit. It is also a good way to make sure you are getting the best comfort and vision from your lenses, and that they are meeting all of your vision needs.

High quality eyewear made when you need it

You found the perfect frame. It fits your face, your lenses look thinner in it, and it makes you look ten years younger. Your prescription has changed, but you found the perfect frame...last year. Off-site optical labs often require you to send them your glasses so they can properly measure and fit it with lenses. You don't want to go without your glasses for weeks while you wait on the lab. And what if they get backed up? At Nora Eye Care's onsite optical lab, we can measure your frame while you wait and let you take your glasses safely back home with you the same day. We will call you when the new lenses are finished and replace the lenses in your glasses at no extra charge when you come to pick them up.

We also cut lenses for new frames onsite. This reduces the amount of time it takes to get you your new pair of glasses. Nearly all prescriptions are ready in just 7-10 days, and some are ready even sooner. Come check out our fabulous lines of stylish frames! No appointment necessary.
